R/C Transmitter Stick Saver

I often carry my trusty Futaba 8U transmitter in a small backpack to the flying field, along with a few essential tools and LiPo battery packs. Recently, with the snow thawing, I took a tumble and my transmitter slipped off my back. This mishap prompted me to add some basic protection to the transmitter. This protective printed part fits snugly over my gimbals and stays in place thanks to a long rubber band or Velcro leash. Since various transmitters have different spacing between their gimbals, I've included the CAD file so you can customize the part to fit your own transmitter perfectly.
