I created this design because other ship models I found were overly complicated or required specialized mechanical components. This one, however, operates without a rudder, relying solely on adjusting the speed of its propellers for control. Achieving a straight course is not as effortless as it seems, as demonstrated in the video: https://youtu.be/IxbOy4HJPTo To assemble this model, you'll need the following parts: - M3 screws and nuts - A reliable adhesive - 2 motors with 2mm mounting holes spaced 12mm apart; I utilized DYS 1306 motors, but alternative motor mounts can be designed if necessary - 2 high-quality 5" propellers Printing Requirements: To ensure a water-tight hull, it's essential to use an appropriate printing technique. On my printer, I employed PLA and increased the flow rate to 140% and the temperature to 210°C. Updates: - October 31, 2017: I modified Ship_Deck_Rear.stl so that the propellers point straight forward.
