QX95 - Super Stock

My designs are fueled by your support, so if you like them, want to see more, and appreciate my hard work, consider tipping me here: http://paypal.me/jametheth After breaking my stock frame, I decided to explore alternative frames on Thingiverse. Unfortunately, none of the 90~105 mm frames met my expectations. Determined to create a better option, I designed my own ultimate "SuperStock" 3d printed QX95 frame, inspired by the original design. This custom frame is specifically designed for the QX95 board but should fit most Eachine small F3EVO boards (QX90 etc). Through multiple revisions and countless crashes, I've refined this design to become my go-to "stock style" setup for the qx95 guts. Weighing approximately 4.4 grams, it's roughly half the weight of the stock frame while maintaining identical dimensions and geometry. It also uses the same rubber grommets for great vibration dampening and cam mounts in a similar way to the stock design. Hooks for rubber band battery mounts are included for added convenience. When printed in PETG, this frame offers a perfect balance of rigidity and flexibility, making it less prone to breaking in most crashes. By combining this frame with other weight-saving modifications like removing the LED strip and swapping out the cam/vtx unit for a lighter one, I've successfully shaved off over 5 grams from the stock all-up weight with a standard battery. To ensure stable mounting, I recommend securing your flight controller and camera using double strips of thick double-sided sticky tape at both the front and back, as well as on the camera itself.
