QX80 drone propeller guard
thingiverse
This is a remix of the design by schmiernippel. It's slightly thicker, with openings for easy clipping onto your QX80. The original design didn't fit my drone, but this one holds tight without needing to remove propellers. It prints easily and quickly in about half an hour. Be aware that motor heat is a concern, so consider printing with ABS or high-temperature filament like PETG. I used PLA, resulting in a slightly deformed part that didn't fit as well on the motors. Print Settings: Printer: Dagoma Discovery 200 Rafts: No rafts are necessary for this print. Supports: You won't need any supports for this object. Resolution: A resolution of 0.2 is sufficient for printing this design. Infill: The infill is set to 100%, but the thin walls make it unnecessary. Notes: You don't need high z-resolution to print this object.
