Q24 Monitor Stand from Remix This is a custom monitor stand I created by modifying the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2050885 STL file into a CAD design, removing the top section and adding a modification to accommodate a monitor insert. I purchased this affordable HP 2011x monitor on Ebay without a stand, but that wasn't a problem for me as a maker. The mounting plate is stamped WF H37G0020-1 A4. If you want to make one, chances are you won't need this specific design. Before printing the whole thing, try chopping off the top section in a design program and print it separately to ensure a good fit. Another option is to create a mock-up piece that fits your monitor well, fill the pocket in mine, and then perform a Boolean operation with your mock-up. I've uploaded a STEP file so you can import it into most standard CAD programs. I designed my original work in Autodesk's Fusion 360, including STL import, export, and STEP conversion and export. The slot for the monitor tongue extends to the bottom of the cavity for easier support removal. I left the "Makerbot" stamp from the original model intact, unsure if I'm allowed to remove it or not. This design was sliced and coded using ReplicatorG with 2 shells (3 total) using PLA. The print settings are as follows: * Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro * Heated Bed Temperature: 45 Celsius * Print Temperature: 220 degrees Celsius * Supports are required to facilitate the building of the monitor tongue cavity. * Feedrate: 40 mm/s * Travel Feedrate: 55
