2014 Halloween Design Competition entry- Curiosity Cabinet What's Halloween without Edgar Allan Poe! Inspired by "The Raven" by Edgar Allan Poe (altered the poem to suit this scenario), I've flipped it around a bit. Now, no longer does the raven sit beside my chamber door's bust, leaving behind not even one feather as proof that its soul has spoken truth, did not leave my loneliness unbroken, followed me in pain over losing Lenore and broken dreams, till death was guaranteed and my body lay shattered, do I lie sleeping still unresting, and his eyes seem like a demon's, dreaming. And now my soul will rise from the shadow that floats on the floor - nevermore -
