This is a test model of the once-thriving Chinese Laundry Shop in Fort Macleod, Alberta. The model vividly depicts the laundry shop's connection to surrounding structures, providing a snapshot of its significance within the community. Across western North America, China towns are rapidly disappearing, leaving behind only memories and remnants of their vibrant pasts. This particular building met its demise in 2016, marking another loss for this fading cultural heritage.
