Quiver 24 Pfeilköcher
thingiverse
Arrow and Point Separators for Building Medieval Quivers. The Disk Separator can hold up to 24 arrows, their tips (Bodkin and Buller) secure in the three rings of the Foot Disk. The cone-shaped pouch is preferably made of sturdy material, enclosing the quiver foot at its lower end. A shallow groove allows for firm positioning of the foot in the pouch; additional holes may be drilled laterally into the outer ring to sew the foot into the pouch. The bottom is only tied shut. A sufficient amount protrudes from the top to permit closure above the arrow rests using a retracted strap. The distance between the two pressure parts depends on arrow length, and should be less than the distance from tip to feathering edge. Two loops are sewn into the long seam of the pouch. Worn at the belt, the quiver can be fixed diagonally by the lower loop, making it easier and faster to remove arrows. The depicted arrows serve only as illustration. In medieval times, the disk separator was made from 3mm thick leather; the foot end protected with embedded straw against piercing, sealed beneath.
