Quinto Board Game
thingiverse
Quinto is essentially Scrabble with Numbers. The game starts with each player drawing a 'hand' of five tiles (numbered from 0 to 9). Players then take turns placing their numbered tiles on the board so that the sum - of rows and columns - equals a multiple of the "Multile" number 5. Next, no row can contain more than five numbers. Finally, if a player places all five of their tiles in one turn, they must score points in at least two directions. Once all tiles have been placed, players are penalized for any unused tiles; the highest score wins. ``` 2 5 0 1 9 8 7 6 3 4 2 1 ``` Players take turns placing their tiles on the board, scoring points in two directions when possible. Each row can only have five numbers, and players are penalized for unused tiles. ``` 9 5 1 8 4 7 6 3 2 0 1 9 ``` When all tiles have been placed, the player with the highest score wins. Players must place their tiles so that the sum of rows and columns equals a multiple of 5. ``` 8 4 9 5 7 6 3 2 0 1 9 8 ``` Players are docked points for any unused tiles, making strategy key to success. Scoring in two directions adds to the player's overall score. ``` 0 9 8 5 4 7 6 3 1 2 9 5 ```
