My wife has been an avid quilter for several years now, always relying on specialized tools to create precision marks on her fabric. However, despite extensive searching, she had never managed to locate one of these specific rulers locally. Determined to surprise a friend who's newly embarked on the quilting journey, my wife took it upon herself to design and 3D print a bespoke marking ruler. She effortlessly jotted down a few critical measurements and got to work in VariCAD, quickly transforming her concept into a digital blueprint. Aided by cutting-edge technology, she produced an object of uncompromising accuracy, using high-grade ABS plastic as the primary material.
