Quilt Squares Box
thingiverse
I designed this box for my wife's assortment of quilting squares, each one a different size. She was worried that she might misplace the smallest ones and wanted them all in one place. So, I took some measurements and created this box to hold them securely. To save on filament, the box was made as open as possible and broken down into several pieces to minimize the need for supports. Feel free to modify the model using TinkerCAD to fit your own quilting squares. This project was built with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/lC0ZbcUu6PO The squares are packed tightly together to save on filament and space, but they might be too snug for fingers to grasp the squares easily. So, I added a tab that hooks onto the holes in the squares, making it simpler to lift out the square and pick it up. The tab slides between two squares when not in use, and its top edge keeps it from sliding all the way down between the squares.
