Quill VR Inktober 2019 #10 - Pattern

I'm excited to share with you my tenth Inktober piece, "Pattern." It's a memory that still feels like yesterday - a magical night in Japan when I got to wear a real kimono at a fancy Rotary club party. One of the guests took me to her home and helped me into the beautiful garment, while her husband snapped photos of me from all angles. The kimono itself was stunning, with intricate patterns that told a story of their own. What made it truly special, though, was its history - it had been worn by one of the families I had the privilege of staying with during my time in Japan. It's memories like these that make Inktober so meaningful to me.
