Quickdraw Stick Clip
thingiverse
Reinforced and improved stick clip uploaded by climbryn. The leg has been modeled to be significantly stronger and the head clip tweaked for a more secure hold and better flexibility, with an additional second head file created for use with even more flexible filaments (the nylon head file is thicker on the plates that hold the gate open, as I experimented with taulman 230 and 910 filaments). A reusable velcro strap has been designed to attach it to a stick, but a cable tie would work just as well. Printing in the orientation shown in the print image is recommended - this leaves the layers in a better position making the whole print much stronger. Previous versions of the design had problems with the end of the leg being easy to snap off when the draw was attached, or if the clip was dropped or the stick bumped out of the way. Wire gate draws were also difficult to properly secure. If any issues arise with this version, a comment will be left and I can look into addressing them. A better design is currently in development (pictured, green) but more details need to be perfected to make it stronger and better. It is hoped that this new version will be available soon!
