Quick Release RAMPS Holder for T-Slot Profile

Quick Release RAMPS Holder for T-Slot Profile

thingiverse

This is a remix of my original quick release Arduino holder found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2165053. This time, I've integrated a flange to secure it against aluminum-profile frames. I personally don't use such profiles myself, but they seem to be well-loved by others. The Arduino PCB simply snaps into place and can be released by pushing the hook. There are also three screw holes with embedded nuts that allow you to screw the board down further, although this is not strictly necessary. The complete RAMPS assembly is held securely in place. I've also included a fan holder from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2530995. This mount is designed specifically for RAMPS boards on 3D printers but will work just as well with an Arduino Mega 2560. **Print Settings** * Printer: Sintron Prusa i3 * Rafts: No rafts were used in this print. * Supports: None were employed during printing. * Resolution: A resolution of 0.25mm was achieved. * Notes: It's worth noting that a less brittle material is recommended for best results. I used PETG, which worked exceptionally well. **Post-Printing** The model includes all support structures and must be drilled through to remove the pilers from the hex indents. A knife can be used to carefully remove the support under the clamping hook.
