Quick release Picatinny Rail Mount
cults3d
This is a fast-release mount designed for Picatinny rails. It grips firmly but can be mounted and removed quickly without tools. A short version and a long one with double levers are available. To build it, you'll need an M3x35mm cap-head screw or two for the longer version - any length between 35 and 40mm will work. You'll also require M3 screws to attach whatever you're mounting on top. The mounting holes are 20mm apart and designed for M3 cap-head screws. Print this with at least three perimeters and plenty of infill. The lever appears to need supports in the gap, but printing without them works fine - try it that way first, then reprint just the part with supports if needed. Follow the video for assembly and consider using a bit of glue to secure the screw. It's not essential, but over time the screw may come loose if you don't glue it. To mount it, engage the clip side first, then roll the other side into place - reverse to take off. If removing is difficult, check that you're not twisting it; keep the axis parallel to the rail and roll it to one side. This can also be used without levers or with M3 nuts if a quick release isn't necessary. For safety reasons, I advise against using this on an actual firearm.
