Quick release nut for cymbal
thingiverse
This is a quick release mechanism for cymbals or other applications. It's designed to fit two metric threads: M6 and M8. The M6 version consists of two identical casing pieces, while the M8 version requires two distinct pieces due to its smaller pin. I manufactured this part using ABS material and assembled it with acetone. Alternatively, you can also use glue for assembly. A small spring is embedded in the middle, which must be extracted and inserted. The spring is marked on the picture with a pencil. I've since added an option that allows the casing to be secured with a 2mm countersunk wooden screw. This modification was made at your request. Recently, I've also included M10 and M12 fast nut options, but I haven't printed these parts myself. If you could print them and let me know if they work as expected, that would be greatly appreciated.
