Quick release mount GoPro
thingiverse
Good day! I'm excited to share that I've finally upgraded my trusty GoPro Hero 5 Black Edition camera mount after three incredible years of service. It's time for a fresh new design, and I've decided to take it up a notch by printing a sturdy mount using my 3D printer. You can find all the files in the attached documents: one is the Fusion 360 file containing my custom model, and the other is the STL file specifically designed for printing. Feel free to explore and learn from my design! When printing this mount, I employed a clever technique by angling it at a 30-degree tilt using Cura. This strategic approach helps ensure maximum fastening strength. I opted for PETG 1.75 mm filament, which not only provides exceptional durability but also makes the print process smoother. Keep in mind that prints with support need some TLC – gently smooth out the surface with sandpaper to achieve a seamless finish. If you have any questions or suggestions, I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out to me on Twitter or leave a comment below. Your support means the world to me, and I'm grateful for every like and share that helps spread the word about my projects!
