Quick Release mechanism
thingiverse
I had a chat with my neighbor about the possibility of 3D printing a smallish quick release mechanism. I said sure, why not? A quick Google search later, I found some examples of how the mechanism works. I spent about an hour drawing it up. You'll need: 4 x M3 10mm screws 4 x M3 nyloc nuts You might have to sand a few bits; tolerances are a bit tight (the support ridges also don't help). I printed it flat so we can utilize the print layers to maximize strength, which avoids putting strain on the interfacing layers.
