Quick release for Raspberry Pi Case

Quick release for Raspberry Pi Case

thingiverse

Update: I've added this note to remind you that this is specifically designed for the "rpi3-bottom_netfabb" file from the remix, and it won't fit the other files. You can use Tinkercad to adjust and hopefully share your modifications. I've included the bottom piece file which is identical to the one in the remix. This quick release mount is made for the case available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922740. I created this design because I wanted a way to quickly remove my Pi from my printing cabinet when I need it for another project. To get the best results, print with high infill to make the pegs as strong as possible. After printing, push each peg through a hole a few times to clean up any excess material. This will make it easier to attach all 4 pegs at once without them breaking off when you try to remove them. Please note that this design is tailored to my printer's tolerances, so it may not fit your case perfectly. You can edit the peg sizes using Tinkercad at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/l91VsItmHf9-raspberrypi-quick-release.
