Quick Release Clip Molle Mounted
thingiverse
Taking inspiration from Mikeevans991's design for a quick connect clip, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3383489 I cut off the back of his Belt Quick Clip design and replaced it with the Molle Translator that Hailodiver posted at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:351866 The result is a molle based quick connect clip **EDIT** It turns out that the first version ended up with a very thin layer where the two original parts met Version 2 eliminates the cross section of the inside of the molle clip that Hailodiver made and replaced it with a solid section *EDIT* I added photos of the connector and flashlight clip attached to my bag The parts were dyed using RIT dyemore graphite The parts look less red / more black in person (I think it's the effect of the flash on the camera) If you're going to dye parts that will interface with other parts make sure they are all dyed together to account for the shrinkage that happens during the dying process I found out the hard way after I only dyed some of the parts of my hand drill to get a nice black and white effect ... all of the dyed parts shrunk and no longer fit to the undyed parts
