Quick Release Adapter (Manfrotto style) with Sliding Plate (501PL) for steadycam / tripod / monopod
cults3d
This is a digital model of the popular Manfrotto adapter, designed for use with steadycam, tripod, and monopod systems. I created it by modeling images of the Manfrotto 577 and 701HDV adapters, which feature a sliding plate and a 501PL. After printing the design, I installed it on my handmade steadicam, making it easy to use and providing protection for the camera in case of accidental drops. To assemble this adapter, you will need several parts: * Two M3x8 screws with DIN 912 (ISO 4762) threads * One ⌀6x35 parallel dowel pin with DIN 7 (EN ISO 2338) specifications or a printed plastic version that requires threading for an M3 screw * One M5x30 hex head structural bolt with DIN 933 (EN ISO 4017) specifications * Two flexible rubber or corkwood pieces, 4 mm thick, which must be glued to the sliding plate * One M5 nut * Three ⌀4x15 springs The assembly diagram can be found in the "quick release adapter assembly.stl" file.
