Quick release adapter for small/compact camera compatible with RC2 Manfrotto system

The proposed adapter makes it possible to utilize the same quick release system for both a DSLR and a compact camera. The large plate of the RC2 QR poses a problem, as it prevents the battery door from opening; therefore, an adapter and a smaller plate were created. Another requirement was that I wanted to use the same camera bag while keeping the QR plate in place (which is not possible with the 200Pl plate). Key features include: - A low-profile plate. - Easy installation and uninstallation of the adapter. - The battery door remains unobstructed, depending on your camera. I have designed a specific plate for my Lumix TZ100 and another standard one with a centered hole. You can use the SCAD files to redesign the plate/adapter according to your own purposes. The rubber band serves only as a placeholder to keep the adapter in place before inserting the plate.
