<p>My Quick Mill brand espresso grinder stopped working when the crappy injection molded bean deflector broke. So I made a new one! Be careful not to lose the spring-loaded ball detents when you fully disengage the threads!</p> <p>Then, you'll need to separate the metal grinder burr from the plastic selector ring / broken bean deflector. There are three screws on the bottom face of the metal grinder burr that connect it to the plastic part.</p> <p>Now, you can slide the deflector up through the hole in the plastic collar. You may need to file down or snap off the remnants of the bean deflector attachment arms to get it to fit. The metal burr can be reattached. The new deflector fits in a gap between the metal and plastic parts that, in my grinder, always jammed full of beans.</p></p></p>
