Quick load Spool Holder

I designed this to eliminate the rockin' filament roll sometimes experienced during prints with numerous retractions. With a perfectly sized spool holder, the spool won't rock just roll. This design can be used in conjunction with my custom spool holder for my affordable HICTOP printer. One can easily lift it from the shelf and place it on the printer without any hassle. If you're interested, check out the models for my printer-mounted spool holder that accepts these spools. If the correct size spool you need isn't available here, you can use the SolidWorks file to create the size you need. If you don't have access to such software, just leave a comment stating the filament brand and exact hole size, and I'll be happy to upload it for you. 05-18-08 - A new spool tube version has been added. The new version significantly reduces used plastic, minimizes print time, contains fewer parts, and looks nicer in my opinion. I've included the .step file of the tube so you can modify it to suit your spool size.
