Quick Hone Spare Blade Storage

Quick Hone Spare Blade Storage

thingiverse

I use the 6" Quick-Hone tool to sharpen my blades for my Jet jointer and I simply had no place to stash my extra set of blades. Additionally, I wanted a safe spot to store the hex key while also protecting the tool in case it fell. I designed and printed a couple ends that hold three blades and the hex key securely inside the tool so the next time I need to swap out blades, they'll be right at hand within the sharpening jig. I didn't want to overcomplicate things, so a simple rubber band around the caps ensures they won't slip off, although I did manage to get a fairly tight fit on the prints.
