Quick Holster for Leatherman Wingman
thingiverse
Inspired by Adam Savage's sheet metal holster he created on "Tested", I crafted my own 3D printed version. It hangs lower, secured with a piece of dollar store belt held in place by a small bolt and nut, along with some two-part epoxy because I tend to mishandle things. Instead of achieving perfect tolerance, I made it slightly larger and added heat shrink tubing to the tool's belt clip, which keeps everything secure even when I'm performing acrobatic feats. My design features my name on the side in case I accidentally leave it behind. I printed it flat with a 45-degree z rotation so zip zag supports could be easily removed. By reversing the nut and bolt, I allowed the 'leather' to swivel freely.
