I added a sturdy cable chain mount to the quick fit carriage, securing it firmly on top left side, facing forward. The authors of these excellent parts deserve credit for their exceptional work. I'm utilizing Quick Fit Carriage with Top Cable Chain Mount - Fix - 3, the most current version available. Fortunately, the cable chain mount is positioned just right to prevent the latch from rattling open if it were to come loose, providing an added bonus.
