Quick Firing 20MM Cartridge Cases

This upload contains both a 2CM Solothurn cartridge case and a 20MM experimental plastic cartridge case.The 2CM case was used by the Nazi military during WW2 in their Flak 30 and Flak 38 anti-air automatic cannons. This cartridge has a total length of 138MM and a rim diameter of 27MM.The 20MM case is of U.S. origin and is used in American made weapons such as the M61 Vulcan which is used in aircraft and on some self propelled anti-air platforms. This case is an experimental version containing a steel base, plastic case body, and I have added a rubber gasket which was added to the design requirements a few years after the specifications provided within this upload.The 20MM case has an overall length of 102MM with a rim diameter of 29.59MM.NOTE! The 2CM was modeled in metric while the 20MM is in imperial.UPDATE: 04Jan22— 20MM Hispano cartridge and primer added.
