Quick Fender
myminifactory
This is a take on the Fender known as the Ass Saver. I took the receiver design from my seat bag and integrated it into a platform that I could easily attach the fender, which I cut out of a 250ml aluminum can. In fact, I managed to get two fender pieces from just one can. This innovative design clips on and off with ease, allowing you to quickly switch between carrying a bag of tools and snacks or a fender for those wet and muddy rides. When it comes to printing, I highly recommend making the outer walls of the receiver at least three layers thick so that the side walls don't break when clipping in place. Trust me, I learned this the hard way - there's nothing worse than creating a nice-looking print only to have it break on its first use. To attach the fender securely, you'll need just a couple of screws.
