Quick Clamping Rod Holder

Introducing my Rod Holder design, Tahe Outdoors! Although my Solidworks Student rendering isn't top-notch, here's a list of materials used for clarity. The main support points are made of aluminium - lightweight and resistant to weathering. Polished Walnut is used for aesthetic appeal as part of the mechanical clamp. Recycled rubber padding provides protection and cushioning on aluminum surfaces. Stainless steel hinges and screws ensure durability against frictional force, even in salt water conditions. My clamping mechanism idea came from a GoPro Water Proof camera casing. Good luck to fellow GrabCAD entrants! Mike Armstrong.
