Quick Change Tool Head

This extruder setup is designed specifically for the HICTOP Prusia i3. From stock, I had 190mm of safe x-axis travel available. However, due to the large fan size, I have reduced the usable travel distance to 180mm. Please refer to the drawing to determine if this setup will fit your printer. Additionally, I have uploaded my Marlin firmware with bed leveling and EEPROM enabled. This design allows for easy switching between direct drive extruding and Bowden drive extruding, which is why it features a Bowden-style E3D V6 version hot end. The filament drive is exposed, making it much more convenient to change filaments compared to the stock printer version. All parts from the original printer are reused except for some M3 bolts and nuts. The heat break fan/hot end clamp was designed around a cloned E3D V6, so if you experience any issues with fitment, please let me know. Enjoy using this setup! PS: I'm utilizing 40mm x 40mm x 20mm Noctua fans, which are extremely quiet and come with silicone plugs that securely attach to fan ducts without screws. The 12v FLX version is what I'm currently using, and I've had no issues yet (over a month) even when connecting the heat break fan directly to 24v.
