This is a simple yet effective spool system upgrade. It utilizes a standard 8mm threaded rod and M8 nuts, similar to those found in the A8 kit. The two bushings (52mm & 32mm) accommodate most standard spools, ensuring secure and smooth operation. When tightened, the plates securely trap your M8 nuts, preventing the spool from straining on your feeder during printing. You can fine-tune the drag on your spool by adjusting how tight you tighten the outer nuts on your mount. This prevents the spool from unraveling at high speeds, even with fast moves that might put pressure on it. To swap out spools quickly and easily, simply unscrew the plates far enough to clear the nut, then pull off the plate and replace it in seconds.
