This pen holder is designed exclusively for use with fine-tip Sharpy markers, offering no features to enhance the grip of the pen. After switching pens a few times, I discovered that some have slightly different diameters. To compensate, I applied one layer of clear packing tape around the pen where the cap fits, creating a snugger fit. By using this pen holder, you press the pen down until it hits the lip where the cap would sit, ensuring every pen is held at exactly the same distance from the egg when crafting multi-layer patterns on an egg.
