I wanted to enable seamless pen switching for the robot. Naturally, I sought out a reliable solution. Neodymium magnets proved to be an excellent choice due to their high magnetic strength and compact size. Specifically, 1/4" x 1/16" N35 disc magnets with a diameter of 6mm and a thickness of 1.5mm were selected for their optimal balance of performance and convenience.
