quick calibration test
thingiverse
I designed this print to rapidly test new filament rolls, specifically checking retraction requirements, over and under extrusion levels, and how it handles small overhangs. The base thickness is 0.8mm, with each subsequent layer adding 40mm in height. The square and cylinder sizes decrease incrementally from 10mm to 2mm in 2mm steps, topped off with a 0.4mm outer layer. This print was optimized for use with a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.16mm layer height. To test over and under extrusion, print this design at 100% infill density. For evaluating dimensional accuracy and stringing issues, printing at 10% infill density should suffice.
