This quick test of bed leveling and adhesion layers takes just 3-8 minutes, depending on your printer's specifications. I print at 0.2mm layer thickness with a speed of 60mm per minute. This setting allows for ideal results in only two total layers. To use this test effectively, please continue reading. Print Settings Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer Model: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Notes: For optimal results, print at a layer thickness of 0.2mm. Post-Printing Instructions To conduct this test, print the file using a light-colored material. Begin by printing a square in one corner, then remove and inspect it for proper adhesion. Adjust the leveling of that corner as needed. Repeat this process for each corner to ensure accurate results. Once complete, lay all the printed squares side by side in order of thickness and transparency. Identify which square best represents your desired outcome. After performing the initial test, clean your bed thoroughly and repeat the process. Remove one square at a time, comparing it to previous prints until you achieve the desired level of adhesion. Continue refining your results through repetition and patience. Design Details I designed this test using TinkerCad, an incredibly user-friendly platform that makes it easy to create complex designs. The first layer measures 0.2x10x10mm, while the second layer is 0.04x5x5mm in size. To accommodate beds of varying sizes, I centered the design and spaced it at either 160mm or 80mm intervals, depending on your printer's specifications.
