This clamp features a channel-shaped base, framed with inner and outer end portions, where the inner end portion fits into the base's channel and has a slot. A pivot extends through this slot, while a clamping screw is attached to the frame. The inner end portion possesses a notch parallel to the slot and perpendicular to the screw. A cross-bar sits on the base within this notch when in operation, preventing the frame from pivoting. Both the notch and slot align with the base when the cross-bar is in place.
