Qui-Gon Jinn's Lightsaber

Qui-Gon Jinn's Lightsaber

Modeled in Blender and edited for printing, this design is a cinch to construct. Simply print Top, Mid, Bot, Shroud, and Knobs (2), then glue them together. I've provided larger parts broken down into smaller sections suitable for smaller printers as well as larger ones. By spreading prints across 5 Dremel 3D40's, you can complete one of these in under two hours - check out the cover image to see it in action. You can also give it a coat and add some weathering effects. This wasn't an attempt at creating a movie-perfect replica, so don't use it as such. The design isn't optimized for CAD, which means some faces might look wonky due to the subtraction method used to make parts printable. All parts should be manifold-friendly, though, and I've had no issues running them through Simplify3D. Print Settings: Printer: Dremel 3D40 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 200um/300um Infill: 20%ish - Doesn't matter Notes: Carefully remove the supports on the bottom section using tweezers. There's enough room to get them out. Print everything vertically.
