NEW VERSION MUCH MORE RIGID (2020/04/09) I offer a female aronde queue of type vixen to install on EQ2 equatorial mount. It can accommodate male aronde queues up to 110 mm maximum. The principle is simple. The aronde queue is in two parts and an M6 bolt tightens one on the other to attach a male aronde queue. A spacer comes between the mount and the aronde queue, and everything is fixed to the mount with the two M8 bolts. You have four types of spacers available, each declinated in two different sizes, for a total of 4. Their height is 10 or 17 mm, and one is slightly finer than the other, their placement depending on the mounts as well as the type of nut used on the declination axis. All bolt heads are sunk. I recommend choosing an enhanced filling for the aronde queue, at least 33% and preferably 70%. In PET-G or ABS (carbon preferred) but especially not in PLA. You will need: - 2 M8x40 or M8x35 bolts with hexagonal head - 2 M8 nuts - 1 M6x70 bolt with hexagonal head - 1 butterfly nut M6 - 1 washer of 6 (with cranks) - 1 spacer among the 4 proposed (stl) - The two parts of the aronde queue (stl) Another version for EQ3.1 mount. The principle remains exactly the same, and the second part of the aronde queue is the same as for EQ2. The differences are: - Replacement of the two M8 bolts with two M6 cylindrical bolts with hexagonal imprint (screwed with Allen key). - No need for nuts. The bolts screw directly onto the mount. - No spacer needed.
