Quest 3 (&2) Audio Mod - Headphones KOSS Porta Pro for BOBOVR M3, M2 & ELITE Strap

Hi everyone! I was very underwhelmed from the default Quest 3 Audio. Firstly I went with the DAS Mod, but found the strap to be uncomfortable, especially with glasses. I decided to modify my KOSS Porta Pro headphones and make them fit to the Quest 3 in order to have great sound within VR games, especially nice for Music-Games or Sim-Racing! I replaced the cables and audio jack to have my cables neatly hidden underneath the foam pad. This requires soldering. You do NOT need to do this, just if you want to make it look extra neat :-) If you want to just use the standard cables, the only thing you need is a way to cut the metal band (I used a small metal saw). I recommend printing with PETG, I got away with PLA. The clips can break when not careful while installing. It requires some fiddling but you'll eventually get it. PLA GCodes included.You can shorten the metal band as far back as you want. I left some slack in order to have some adjustability. After installing, you can rotate them slightly or adjust the headband to make them sit perfectly over your ear. Things I used:KOSS Porta Pro HeadphonesAWG 30 Silicone WiresHeadphone-Jack with Solder-PointsHave fun with great audio! I'm really enjoying VR now, my quest3 finally feels complete and like a real VR Headset! :-) PS: It should work for the Quest 2 and BOBOVR M2 as well since the headbands are very similar. The Meta ELITE Strap should work as well! Also, if yours are sliding, add some sticky foam inside the clip.
