Quest 2 VR Gun Stock High Mobility Lightweight

thingiverse

This VR-gunstock was designed to have a stock lightweight enough to not be a hindrance during play, The stock was made as to have enough space for your headset to go when aiming down sights, while being top mounted for good security and access to the bottom of the controller for pistol reloading. The front grip was created by SerenityRanch to have your left controller slot in, holding it secure, while not being locked in. It allows you to very quickly grab your gun, and just as quickly lets you let go to do things such as reloading. All without the need for magnets or anything on the controller itself. This design is adapted of one of SerenityRanch's (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6029933). His design is great, but i wanted some more space between the controllers and more space for the headset. Hence this design.Non-printable things required-6mm Aluminum Pipe-150 mm (Back Pipe)-180 mm (Middle Pipe)-200 mm (Front Pipe)-6 M3 Bolts-6 M3 Nuts-2.5 mm Drill (3 mm also works but is less secure)-M3 Threader, A screw with its head sawed off also works with a drill. (not required but makes much easier with 2.5mm drill)Instructions:Print the parts (Left handed people should mirror them)Line up the parts and drill holes with the drillUse the threader to make screwing in the m3 bolts easier (not required)Screw in the bolts in the desired direction and apply the bolts on the other sideClick the mid piece in your controller and have fun
