Quest 2 Beat Saber handle
thingiverse
This is a remixed version of "Beat Saber Hilt for Oculus Quest Controllers" by ATARKA. The original version was for Quest 1, this is for Quest 2. Good news that ATARAKA is also working on a version for Quest 2. Huge thanks to Thingiverse user ATARKA, for providing a basic form of handles and the screw/thread parts. I designed this using Tinkercad, so if someone requests, I will share the project file so it can be edited easily. Files with L_ are for left controllers, files with R_ are for right controllers. Currently not broken after playing Camellia's Ghost on expert level. By the way, it adds lots of unbalanced weight. Make sure that you play maps that you can handle. Also, this extends your arm, so you should be more careful while playing with this. + Make sure you label L and R for the bottom parts so you don't get confused. By the way, I'm too busy with school stuffs so I'm almost not working on this any more. But if anyone requests, I can share Tinkercad project file. +Todo: 1. Grip button will be fixed 2. Center of weight will be adjusted 3. Fix non-manifold geometry and design improvements (not sure) Current known problems: (that I can't handle) + Bottom Parts have non-manifold geometry. + Grip button is pressed when assembled. (And this will break grip button over long term use.) Easy fix is to assemble it carefully, it will not press grip button. + Release V1: Added Oculus logo to help alignment. Added files for Right controllers. Made huge revisions for adjusted fitting. Recent Updates: Jul 24 Update: Sorry but I have been too busy to work on this. Mar 11 Update: Fixed non manifold geometry. Adopted screws for bottom part by ATARAKA. No problem detected. (But still can be improved.) T Feb 23 Update: Problems with the screw thread (can't assemble them) Feb 22 Update: Removed Oculus logo for easier modeling. Will add this back on the final version. Fixed incorrect model size and fixed critical non-manifold geometry. Feb 15 Update: Critical non-manifold geometry detected. I am working on it. Also, the bottom part was impossible to assemble, I also will update this.
