sketchfab
Fossil tibia bone from an extinct giant kangaroo is discovered during excavations at South Walker Creek in 2016 by the team of palaeontologists and volunteers working with Queensland Museum. The excavation team led by Hocknull, S. et al., uncovers this significant find in that year. Primary data for this research project is provided by Hocknull, S. & Lawrence, R. (2016) from their work at the Queensland Museum. A 3D model of the fossil tibia bone is created by Hocknull, S. (2018), also part of the Queensland Museum team. The scene creator for this 3D model is also Hocknull, S. (2018). The background image for this project comes from Lawrence, R., working with the Queensland Museum. This work is a result of a partnership between Queensland Museum and BHP. For more information about this project, visit projectdig.qm.qld.gov.au.
