Queen Size Bed (Military UCP Worn Variant)
sketchfab
A queen-sized bed, meticulously crafted in 3ds max and detailed with rich textures using Substance Painter. The primary objective was to recreate authentic folds in the fabric sheets, a task that required precision and attention to detail. In contrast, the bed frame itself boasts an impressively low poly count, deliberately underdeveloped for this simulation test. This decision allowed for a more straightforward evaluation of OpenSubdiv's capabilities, paving the way for future enhancements. With a few tweaks, the model can be easily improved by adding more intricate details to the bed frame and mattress. This particular iteration was designed to resemble a worn military UCP-style bed, reminiscent of those used by soldiers in the US Army's Combat Uniform. The Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) is instantly recognizable, evoking images of rugged, high-stress environments. To maintain creative freedom, pillows were intentionally omitted, allowing users to place them uniquely within game engines like Unreal Engine 4 or Unity. Model Statistics: Polys: 124,195 Tris: 248,406 Verts: 124,222 (Excluding the wooden frame and mattress) Polys: 163 Tris: 342 Verts: 188
