Queen Size Bed (Military DPM Camo Variant)
sketchfab
A Queen-sized bed meticulously crafted in 3ds max, with textures carefully added in Substance Painter. The primary objective was to create an authentic representation of realistic folds within the cloth sheets. In contrast, the bed frame itself boasts a remarkably low poly count and lacks intricate details. This minimalist approach was a deliberate design choice, intentionally leaving out OpenSubdiv capabilities for this specific simulation test. Future enhancements can easily be implemented by incorporating more detailed designs into both the bed frame and mattress. This particular variant was designed to resemble a military DPM pattern bed, suitable for use by military personnel worldwide. The DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) design has historically been associated with the British Armed Forces, as well as numerous other armies globally. Note that pillows were intentionally omitted to allow for unique placement within an editor like Unreal Engine 4 or Unity. Model Statistics: * Poly Count: 124,195 * Triangles: 248,406 * Vertices: 124,222 (Wooden frame and mattress only) * Poly Count: 163 * Triangles: 342 * Vertices: 188
