Queen of the Night - polychrome reconstruction
sketchfab
The ancient relic discovered in southern Iraq dates back to between 1800 and 1750 BC, when it was crafted into a Babylonian plaque showcasing an enigmatic figure that could very well be the malevolent Lilitu or a revered Mesopotamian goddess. Based on digital reconstruction produced by the British Museum's New Media Unit, a vibrant 3D representation was created and expertly illustrated in the book "The Queen Of The Night" by Dominique Collon. This exceptional artifact measures 49.5 cm in height and is currently displayed in Room 56 at the British Museum.
