Queen of Hearts Scepter
thingiverse
This scepter originates from the 2010 movie Alice in Wonderland. The parts are simple enough to 3D print - except for the heart. To successfully print the heart, 100% support is required; if this doesn't work, you may need to cut it into two pieces and then glue them together after printing. You'll have to purchase nails with a diameter of 1.4 mm to secure the heart in place. After 3D printing the nail sheaths at a resolution of 0.2mm, you can use a knife to remove the excess material. Once the heart is secured, you can trim off the heads of the nails and attach the nail sheaths over them. Initially, I assembled all the parts (excluding the heart and nails) and carried out some sanding and priming. Subsequently, I applied a thin layer of plastic foil tightly over the heart and reassembled everything. Following this, I painted the scepter before removing the plastic foil and coating it with clearcoat. If you discover an improved method for assembling the scepter, please let me know.
