I designed a toy sculpture for my 2nd-year Industrial Design studio class. To document the process, I created a 3D printed prototype that can be viewed here: https://chrisvera101.wordpress.com/2016/11/14/2nd-year-final-studio-project-toy-design-for-juego-play/. In essence, I aimed to transform Chess pieces into action figures with a giant alien mecha theme. Completing the 3D digital model took only 10 days before finalizing the physical prototype.
