Enter the immersive world of Qube. Warner Communications, a subsidiary of Warner Communications Inc., had successfully developed a pioneering cable television service featuring revolutionary multi-channel programming and cutting-edge two-way communications between subscribers' homes and state-of-the-art studio facilities equipped with high-tech computers. The 30-channel service made its highly anticipated debut on December 1, 1977 to approximately 100,000 households served by Warner's existing cable television system in Columbus, Ohio. By simply pressing buttons on a user-friendly console, subscribers could access 30 channels of dynamic video and valuable information, effortlessly selecting programs, engaging in interactive games, taking tests, instantly voicing their opinions, and actively participating at home in live television programs and events.
