QUBD : [v2] Twoup Gantry replacement
thingiverse
I've been thrilled since I swapped out the original gantry for this one. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:890993 My TwoUwp has become significantly reliable, and I'm no longer worried about hours of printing now. The print quality has also improved. This [v2] addresses the drawback on [v1], which was missing a range of motion about 1 inch from the original. The [v2] has approximately 12[mm] wider range of motion than [v1]. The [v2] still misses a few millimeters from the original design with the stock x-carriage (60[mm]). However, once the x-carriage is upgraded to narrower versions, you actually gain more. Here are some examples. They are all 15[mm] narrower than the stock carriage. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:951718 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:408818 http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22332700 Although I have only tested this with TwoUp, I'm also interested in hearing from OneUp users, whose range of motion is even more important.
